Papa Negra – which gets its name from black potato, a typical potato variety from the Canaries – is a new avant-garde restaurant concept that takes Canarian wrinkly potatoes and mojo sauce to the next level. It surprises guests with unique, innovative flavours inspired by traditional Canarian cuisine in a luxurious culinary experience.Ingredients like grouper, pagrus, Atlantic Bluefin tuna or the delicious local varieties of cheese are brought anew in creative presentations at Papa Negra Restaurant.

THE RESTAURANT

Housed in a colonial building, Papa Negra is a restaurant where fresh local products are the real stars. Being part and parcel of Canarian culture, it sits on the main thoroughfare in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, at the Anaga terrace of the IBEROSTAR Grand Hotel Mencey.
